Dear HP Family,

As you are aware, Mrs. Shirl Cooper has decided it is time to pass the mantle after more than 30 years as our nursery director. We are grateful for her faithful service; it’s hard to imagine someone better suited to caring for our young ones over the past three decades. Thank you to Mrs. Cooper, and many congratulations on a job well done!

We praise the Lord for bringing a new member to our HP team to serve as nursery director. We are grateful that Johnette Christ has accepted the position of nursery director at Hampton Park. Johnette has been a member of Hampton Park Baptist Church since 1998 and previously served the church on our office team from 1998-2002. She and her husband Derrick have three children. Johnette has actively served in the nursery for many years, and we look forward to her leadership of this vital ministry. She loves people, loves children in particular, and has a passion for serving the Lord through ministry in the local church. She will begin serving officially as nursery director on Sunday, May 20. When you see her, please welcome her!

God has been faithful in again providing the right person at the right time—for that we give Him thanks!
