Bruce Mizell came to Hampton Park in 1972 after graduating with a
degree in Elementary Education from Bob Jones University. While
teaching sixth grade for two years, he began course work for a
Masters in Educational Administration. In 1974 Bruce assumed the
position of Principal of Hampton Park Christian School. Upon
completion of his Masters in 1976, he has continued in ministry with
church and school responsibilities. Bruce has been active in the
South Carolina Association of Christian Schools currently serving as
Vice-President. He was awarded the Doctor of Humane Letters by his
alma mater in 2005. Bruce and his wife have three children all
married and serving the Lord. Bruce marvels at the privilege of
being able to come to work each day and invest in the eternal lives
of young people.
