John Good
Pastor
John grew up in a pastor's home in northern Maine, though he was born in Greenville, SC. He trusted Christ as his Savior while in elementary school during an evangelistic meeting. John attended BJU and returned to Maine where he taught in Christian schools for 13 years and was involved in multiple youth ministries. He did pulpit supply for over 20 years and served as assistant pastor in one church and pastor in another church. The Lord directed him and his family back to SC in 2006, where he worked for the M&G at BJU until 2022. During that time he earned his MA in Pastoral Studies at the BJU Seminary and also served as a deacon, elder, and Sunday School teacher at Heritage Bible Church. Since 2020 he and Martha have attended Hampton Park, where John serves on the facilities team. He enjoys hiking with his wife Martha, and they are blessed with two daughters and 8 grandchildren.
