Mexico Update - Kate S
We had an early start with an amazing breakfast from Gwendolyn that everyone couldn’t get enough of. Soon after, we started our our six hour ride into the Yucatán peninsula. We arrived at our hotel and met the owner Elfryim, whose nickname is Pollo. He took us on a tour of his property and showed us how to open coconuts and make fresh-squeezed citrus drinks. He was so kind about everything has been an incredible host.
We had lunch and dinner at Pastor José Luis‘s church with his family. They were so generous. Pastor gave his testimony and then we sang a number of songs. We hung out there playing soccer and talking and eating food for four hours. They all were so welcoming and have made our time here super fun so far. -KS
