Mexico Update - Lexie C
This morning has been great! We just finished lunch so we still have the rest of the day to go. This morning we went to a cenote, which is a sinkhole. It was beautiful there, and we enjoyed exploring around. When we were done there, we went to the square in the city and looked around. There were lots of cars and people around, but it was cool to experience some stores and just the culture. We also had a children's meeting in the morning, and the kids are so cute and sweet! We had a lesson and played freeze tag, duck duck goose, and a game the kids play here in Chemax. We all had so much fun, even though sometimes its challenging with the language barrier. The people here are so sweet and hospitable, and I can wait to continue to get to know them while we're here. -LC
